Delta Fair and Music Festival is coming up soon! It lasts from September 4th until September 13th this year.

 

They always invite us for their two busiest days, Senior Citizen's Day on Wednesday, September 9, and things like 4-H, homeschool, schools, military, veterans, and FFA day is on Friday, September 11. You don't have to stay all day.

 

Both days start at 9:00 a.m. On Wednesday, the fair invites several more quilting groups, and it's nice to meet other quilting enthusiasts from the area!  It's also a great day to walk around looking at the winners and ribbons that are hung from the ceiling and put in the display cases. Many of our guild members submit items for the judging, will you?  The entry form is in the Delta Fair handbook we have available at guild meeting, you can also find it at

I'll be there all day, both days, The building is always cool, so bring a sweater if you're cold natured! They have outlets and tables if you want to bring a sewing machine, sometimes I've brought my Accuquilt with fabric and cut blocks, or you can bring hand sewing if you wish.

 

Because I also do Plarn Crochet demo-ing, I usually don't sew the first day, but I'll bring my machine on Friday. You'll see people doing a wide variety of arts and crafts! Again, everyone is welcome to come, you don't have to stay the whole day.

 

Please let me know if you're interested - we get preferential (free!) parking both days, we don't have to pay admission to the fair, and we get a free sandwich, drink and chips for lunch. I'll need to reserve the correct number of parking passes for anyone attending.
