The Monthly Guild Meeting is at Germantown United Methodist Church, 2331 S. Germantown Rd. – Parking and Entrance are at the rear on West St.

The Guild meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month except in November and December.

2026-2027 Calendar.

The set up and social time will begin about 6:00 pm and the meeting will start at 6:30 pm.

Our Hospitality Table is organized by Sallye L and Sue F. It is a potluck. Bring your own beverage, water is provided.

The meeting is also available via Zoom. The Zoom link will be emailed to all members on the morning of the meeting and can also be found on the Members Only page of this website.

Show and Tell is everyone’s favorite part of the meetings. If you cannot attend the meeting in person to share your projects, you can submit pictures and information about your projects to our guild email address utquiltguild@gmail.com Be sure to put Show and Tell in the subject line and include your name and any information you want to share. The deadline is the Sunday before the meeting.

Pictures shared online and in person will be uploaded to the Guild’s FB after each meeting.

$tash for Ca$h is also a monthly feature of our meetings. We welcome the treasures that you bring. These are items that need a new home and can go to a new home the night of our meeting.  Members pay what they feel is appropriate but if the items are left at the end of the evening, please take them back home.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

We will follow the guidelines for Shelby County Schools in the event of inclement weather, particularly ice and snow but applicable for any weather event which impacts safe travel to and from the Uncommon Threads Quilt Guild monthly meeting.  If the schools are closed, the UTQG meeting will be cancelled.

Discussion was held regarding the option of switching to a virtual only meeting but concerns for the completeness and timing of the notification led the board to follow the practice of cancelling the meeting if there is a weather event with the potential to impact the safety of our members.  This decision is not applicable to the UTQG Board meetings as they are held virtually each month.
