2026 Guild Challenge
Hello Quilters!
The Sewcialites’s first challenge block is ready to assemble. The first block, which was designed by Chelsi Sratton, was released this morning at 9 a.m. on YouTube. (see link below)
Each Friday, Kimberly Jolly of the Fat Quarter Shop, will demonstrate a quilt block. The Sewcialites blocks are demonstrated on YouTube, so you can watch the video over and over if desired. Also, some of the designers demonstrate their blocks on their websites. If you decide that you don’t like the chosen block, no problem, you have Sewcialites 1 and 2 to choose from. The information is free to download on the Fat Quarter Shop website. Instead of copying all of the information, I save the documents on my computer to review later.
The block patterns and demos wilI be released every Friday morning except for July 4. I may not be able to remind everyone each week, so you can set a reminder that will go to your mail inbox or set a reminder on your calendar.

2025 Guild Challenge
This Challenge is to create wall hangings for each month or season or holidays. You're choice. ​
Monthly Guidelines for our guild challenge:

Two different blocks are to be completed/any size. 2 blocks completed=2 tickets/1 ticket=1block

Members do not have to take part each month.

Blocks must be turned in during the month specified, except for an absence
-
Ideas for the blocks:

perpetual calendar

wall hanging for family member on their birthday month

seasonal blocks and have a sampler quilt

table toppers/runners
